Yes, it will.  It's grease with a conductive additive (usually silver).
It will prevent corrosion just like any other grease.

You could use a good anti-seize compound as well (the high-temp type); it 
works pretty good both as a conductor and as a corrosion preventative. Has 
copper and silver (and lead, usually) in it.
