Shawn Van Neer is building just such an engine for his new Mk1 Scirocco
(yea) and here's the preliminary specs:
	2.2L block
	major head work
	set of Schricks, 268 or 276
and of course the standard exhaust and intake mods.  BTW to get 200 out of
a non-NOS, non-forced induction 16v is require sacrificing reliability and
driveability.  Probably and aftermarket ignition too, like TEC, so you can
constantly tune and retune spark, fuel, etc.  Maybe not a DIY project?  I
dunno....

BTW he's already got a pristine BBS bodykit, and he's going to paint it
orange.  Dukes of Hazzard orange, with the logo from his shop on each door
and maybe the roof.  Should be interesting....:)
