Jason,
Start off basic. Inorder to make more power, you have to get the air 
into and out of the engine more efficiently. You can always put in 
more fuel, as it is pressurized by a pump, but unless you supercharge,
 you are depending on atmospheric pressure to push the air into the 
cylinders. 
     There is not going to be one end all cure all solution to more 
power, it is made up of many very detailed things. Unfortunately, as 
the air passages get bigger, generally you get less low end torque 
and more high end power that is not usable. Try to reduce 
restrictions without increasing size, and by all means keep the 
intake ait cool! Do not do like these silly Honda people and suck hot 
air from under the hood into your air cleaner!
