Sounds like its beyond me so that means it probably should be easy to fix!
It might be something in the brain? 
Really tho, it sounds like your getting the right voltage to something. Then
you hit high RPM and it lacks enough voltage to run right. (Does this theory
sound tangable?) Then you turn the key off, the voltage is able to regen and
the problem is fixed for now, until the next rpm peak. 
Did you check the things I listed? You never said. Id like to know how the
coil tested. DO IT MAN!!!
