Dan n Friends Help me trouble shoot my DPR trouble shoot tool.

Well, first off you should be measuring current through the circuit and setting it for 10 +/- 1 ma.
Also it's important that you maintain polarity with the maintenance harness in place. If you should reverse the wires then the engine won't run well if at all.
It may be simply that if you're measuring voltage the high impedance of the voltmeter is enough to impede the correct current flow through the DPR.

Ok I assembled the DPR/Multi meter tool pretty sure I got them wired right.

Plugged it in and it starts, but then won't maintain idle. The multimeter shows around 7.9v it doesn't change it just drops off even if you try to hit the pedal. the voltage remains around 7.9v until I turn the key off.

Whatz up with that?

BTW thanks for the link for the connectors Dan. 8-)
