Dan n Friends Help me trouble shoot my DPR trouble shoot tool.
OOOPS. I thought it was Voltage I was reading. I thought it was like an O2
sensor for MS.
Ok so I have it assembled what am I looking at with mA's? The DPR works on
Amps? (pie on face)
I'll set it for mA's. 10mA to start with? Then what am I looking for on
diagnostics?

Well, first off you should be measuring current through the circuit and
setting it for 10 +/- 1 ma.
Also it's important that you maintain polarity with the maintenance harness
in place. If you should reverse the wires then the engine won't run well if
at all.
It may be simply that if you're measuring voltage the high impedance of the
voltmeter is enough to impede the correct current flow through the DPR.

Ok I assembled the DPR/Multi meter tool pretty sure I got them wired right.
Plugged it in and it starts, but then won't maintain idle. The multimeter
shows around 7.9v it doesn't change it just drops off even if you try to hit
the pedal. the voltage remains around 7.9v until I turn the key off.
Whatz up with that?
