head/oil cooler update (argh!)



You know, I thought about that a little after I posted. I don't know if it
would drain anyway, but I've never had a problem with an empty filter
either. Would it be any worse than sitting for a day or two? You never
really get all the old oil out anyway... the way they are mounted on the
Volvo is above the filter flange with the lines pointed down. That's more
what I was talking about.  Jeff

Hmmmm.....
So, at some point your engine gets a big slug of pressurized air
delivered to the bearings.
Not sure that sounds good.
I think I'd rather have a little old oil mixed with the new.
