Dash results (and X-mas comes early :)

No offense taken at all - that's why I asked for opinions. But to say 
it's garbage might be a stretch. And since you trashed it in such a 
vehement way, you could at least share your proposed approach...

 From my standpoint, it was garbage before (and if you'd seen the before 
pix, you'd agree). At least now, it's crack-free  :)  But, I agree, it 
looks nothing like a material that a dashboard would be composed of. 
But, as I pointed out originally, it can be sanded and painted. So it's 
not like it's ruined. Just think of it as a blank canvas!  I could have 
spent 10-20+ hours experimenting with different materials and never 
ended up with something as uniform as this. My time is worth several 
times more than what this cost me (and I've got other dummy dashes to 
mess with if the mood strikes me)

Besides, doesn't my Vortex UID "gamblinfool" tell you anything about me?  :)
