8v to 16v conversion how much work?

  I think Larry is cranky because he buys cars to drive, not to work on or
improve.  'Don't need no stinking stressbars!' fits my gist well...  :-)  If
I were in that position, I know that -I- would be cranky...  :-)

As far as doing it in a weekend, if you have a complete donor
Scirocco, I don't see why not!
Nothing to fab. Biggest deal is the wiring and believe it or not the
harnesses can be removed, intact, from the car, so with some planning
it could be done.
