Which tranny is best (street mostly, some track days), 3 options



I agree with Ron.
The 2H is going to be too short for track or your intended street use.
The FF is best left to broad torque curve turbo engines (like my nephew's JH, T3 which likes the .71
5th just fine ;^) in my opinion.

A .80 ratio would be a good 5th gear without too big a drop, although they're scarse as hen's teeth.
The .71 is a big drop even with a .97 4th and would be a joke with a 1.13 4th.
I'd just go with the 2Y.
