[OT] Opinions on HVLP paint systems needed...

well, the first pass turned out to be the wrong color. only had to lightly
sand/roughen to prep for the second pass with proper color. while painting,
i only mixed one batch. the paint has a 4 hour pot life. i did 3 coats,
waiting 30 minutes between each coat, and got no running and good coverage.

> How did the finish come out?

surprisingly glass-like, especially since i used a base-coat only paint.
those pics are a day after the spray was done, so it was totally cured by
then.

> How much orange pealing did you have?

none at all. it only looks like it because the paint conformed to the
texture of the wheel centers.
