1.8T in a Mk1 Scirocco, info?...(Audi a girls car...What!?!?)
Hey that was my idea... first I need a mkI though.
I've read everything including what Josh has to say and I still think it's
a good project to go with. Electronics are going to be the biggest issue...
not simple like CIS/-E/-Motronic. Too many pieces need to match so the best
is to find a complete donor... but this is doable.
My research shows you can get a low mileage 1.8T with wires and electronics
for less than I put into my 2.0 swap (motor with all the new fiddly bits).
Depending on the motor, mounts become an issue and also if you wanna go
with a newer tranny you will need to fabricate those mounts also.
