digi 1 vs MS



Just to clarify. It's not bad to use a knock sensor (generic sense) with
forced induction. The problem is the VW/Bosch KS ignition does not retard
under boost and using the knock sensor to get the required retard will get
you a far from optimum ignition advance.
I suspect there is a way to use the stock VW knock sensor in conjunction
with MegaSpark or MegasquirtnSpark to get the required retard under boost
and still retain the knock sensor function.
If anybody gets to the point of trying to implement this I'll be glad to
lend a hand.
