CIS Fuel Distrib. Problem solved?



If the fuel dizzy you picked up is black, that is the Frequency valve, which
is used to control mixture.
If the dizzy is silver, that is the Pressure Actuator, which is also used to
control mixture.
In either case I would try to find an old style one. You may never get the
mixture right, especially under varying loads and engine temps. This may
also lead to poor drivability, and increased emissions.
I am in the middle of a CIS-Lambda swap into my 79, and have not run into
any big issues yet....yet that is.
