crash

    We defiantly need clarification on what was bent.  If it was in the area
of the bumper supports it could be the accordion braces known as the
'crumple zone'.  These are the two snorkel things that go from the strut
tower area to the bumpers, parallel with the sides of the car.  The battery
sits on one and the washer bottle is near the other.
    I had these straightened on my Jetta at a local body shop that had a
'frame machine'.  The zone was moved about 3" due to the accident.  It cost
about $350 to get everything in specs.
