Ok, this is a vague question, so give me your best guess.

What is a 2.0l 16v from a '91 Passat worth if it has a blown headgasket?

I'm talking just longblock, no tranny, no wiring, etc.  Don't know mileage,
but assume 130k and I 'll interpolate from there.

Next question:  Can I run this engine (including 2.0l head) with my Cis-e
stuff?  I'm hoping I can just kinda drop the block with head in the car,
bolt up my manifolds, stab distributor, add accessories and hit the road.
Is that even possible, or do I need the motronic doo-dads?

Any comments on the wisdom or stupidity of doing that are welcome, and
probably well deserved, but also tell me if that is possible.

3.:  How much is all the motronic crap worth.   I know I should check the
archives, so I won't ask the list to re-iterate every piece I'd need, but if
anyone wants to tell me I'd appreciate it.

Help me before I screw up this little impulse buy.
