MK 1 Fuel pump removal - Got It



No! Not even a second or two, fuel that travels through pump is what
actually lubricates it, you also risk the chance of the damn thing exploding
(metallic rollers contact body of pump with any residual fuel contained in
pump and the oxygen added from the air now has the possibility of igniting!)
Glad to see this didn't happen to you.
