was just told the flange tool not needed..

i just called a shop very familiar with rebuilding vw trannies and they
said i dont need the puller to get the flange off.

he said just get one person to compress the flange and another to put
the clip on/take it off.

ok, i already got the clip off like that, but do i just pull like hell
to get the flange out? i thought you NEEDED the puller for that???


arg, i wish i didnt have to ask so many questions
