short shift kits

i have the neuspeed one, which i believe is a three piece kit. it works great 
and has two settings 30% and 50%. i think there is something about side to 
side shortness too if you read the description. not really sure what that 
means but thats the only difference i saw between the neuspeed one and the 
other cheaper kits when i was shopping for kits. im not really sure if its 
worth the 200 cause i have no basis to compare it to other than stock. hope
