The '78 had no compressor installed when I got it, but I found one 
locally(just got to pick it up still).
I seem to recall listers mentioning you have to replace something in the 
system(besides refrigerant)
for it to work right. So that is the question what needs to be 
replaced?  The receiver/dryer comes to
mind, but I am not sure.  Thanks.
