Unfortunately your photos don't offer much assistance.

big deal so long as the cylinder bore is OK.  You'll just need a new
piston (or pistons of you're so inclined).  As for the head, I can't
make you what you're describing it appears that you've dropped a
valve.  Do all the valves function properly when you rotate them cams
or do the #3s remain open?  So long as the head, which from your
pictures, is OK - just replace the bent valves.  

FYI, I have 3 spare 1.8l 16v pistons (the fourth has an intake valve
stuffed in in from a similar failure).  If you're interested, let me
know.
