Re: Tearing up axles? (Scirocco 16v)



2l or not you should not tear up the cv joints that easily.

It sounds as if something in the drivetrain is mis-aligned.

Is the power train seated properly (motor and tranny mounts) per the Bentley 
and has the car been lowered?

If not this maybe cause some undue stress in the shafts.

If the car has been lowered the SAI (steering axis inclination) may have 
been change, would could cause some problem. Lowering may have effected the 
jounce and rebound in the cycling of the suspension. Has the alignment been 
checked?

Hell I don't now, but this might help a little.
