Re: 8v to 16v wiring



Should be a piece of cake...
espically if the 86 had a knock sensor...

I swaped an 87 16v into an 84. I used all the wiring from
the 16v except lights harness.  engine harnesses pluged
right into the fuse box. There were a couple extra wires
left over (O2 heater wire, etc...) but they're not
essential just haven't got around to it type of thing...

My bigest problem related to the wiring was cutting a
bigger hole for the extra wires associated with the knock
sensor through the rain tray wall.

just remember to label everything BEFORE you disconect the
wires...
