a possibility is to use a head spacer like alot of the honda drag racer's do. 
they basically take a head, cut about an inch or so off of it, weld it to the 
bottom of the head they are gonna use on the car, and bolt it up. it 
apparently works really well, and you can pick the exact compression ratio 
you want to run, for considerably less than low compression pistons
