Re: voltage dropping... dropping...



The actual wire diameter (not including insulation) is:
12 AWG=.091"
2 AWG=.338"
00 AWG=.496"
The above diameters are for stranded wire.
So, the 00 AWG is not actually anywhere near as fat as my...thumb, but I
suppose it could be as fat as someone else's.....thumb!
The 00 AWG has twice the cross sectional area as the 2 AWG, which could
be really good for those long trunk to engine runs!
