I did 24 hours in my '79 last Christmas, but i broke it up into two days.
Day 1 Minneapolis to Detroit.  Day 2 Detroit to Kennebunk, Maine.  Then two
weeks later I did it again, except backwards.  And while I was in Maine I
had to replace the steering rack. (thanks again John L).  I think 20
straight hours stopping only for gas and bathroom breaks in a Mk1would be
glorious torture.  Especially your Mk1 Jasin.  From what I hear it's even
more uncivilized than mine is.
