Anyone tried MkII doorseals on their MkI's????

Ok, I know the MkI door seal is actually on the door and the MkII is on the
frame, but has anyone tried this?  Just was wondering about it yesterday,
knowing that they, and most body rubber, is scarce for the MkI.
