Re: Slegato and other models

It would appear i have an oddball car. I have a 1991 Scala 8v in Tornado Red
with colour coded kit and bumpers but no colour coding for the wheels or
interior. These were/are silver/black and grey/green/purple tartan respectively.
According to my VW dealer its all factory spec so one can only assume that even
models badged the same have local variations between UK/Europe (other than the
change from LHD to RHD)
However i have seen early Scala's that have had colour coded wheels but i'm not
sure about interiors (maybe someone else knows this)
My experience is strictly limited to UK models that i have seen and that ain't
many.

Cool. So I'm looking for the paint code for "Inka blue
metallic" for if / when I repaint the '85...

Ok, that was my original thought, but was going by Andy's
experience. And I'd *love* to see that brochure!!!

I agree - it's a damn nice car. Maybe we can get him to
come to the Cincy meet in May. (Or in September for that
matter...)

Once again - we bow to thee Dirk. :) What are *your*
plans for May... any chance YOU could make it over? (I'd
guess there would be enough people on this list who would
chip in some cash for a plane ticket...)
