Re: synthetic for 8v



I've been using Mobil 1 from day one on my current engine.  Broke it in on 
Mobil 1.  It's been 14 years (the last 2 w/nitrous) and about 50,000 miles 
and I have 178 to 185 psi in all cylinders.  I've used 10w-30 and 15w-50, 
depending on what the stores have on sale.  Both grades work because the 
temps are relatively mild here in the SF Bay area.  You should choose the 
grade based on what the owner's manual recommends, there is no difference in 
this selection process.
