My car (1982) is still a piece of shit to spite every effort to make it
otherwise. 
I've done everything I could and the car is really fun but no-one takes any
notice to it. And passengers are usually just kinda pised that it's so loud. I
guess thats ok cuz everyone wants to drive when I go somewhere. I supose I
shouldn't complain, the car is exactly how I made it. As soon as I track all
the rattles down things should be much better.
Here are my mods. . . .the ones I can remember.
Body:16v kit
euro bumpers, lights, clear signals
debadged grill
filled hatch, r-wiper jet, fender antanna hole
fuba antanna
tinted tail lights
rear & front Hella fogs
Ocean blue paint inside ond out (i did it myself and got some orange peel so
dont be too impressed)

Interior:
Momo: wheel, shift knob, race seats & harnesses
striped completely (no adhesive left)
no heater of AC
power mirrors, windows, locks (added thes cuz you cant reach the passenger
door while in the race seats)
Battery in back (polished aluminum box)
12in Kicker bandpass w/200w amp
Neuspeed 3 guage pannel
racing power cut switch in dash
A3 Golf interior light with sunroof switch that opperates the door locks, has
a time delay that makes the light stay on for a few seconds after the dor is
closed (when you see this mod on Alex Tings car just remember you saw it here
first! =-)
More rattles than you can imagine!!!!!!grrrrrr

Engine:
1.8L 9:1
ported intake manifold
Neuspeed T-body
K&N
euro dist
poly motor mounts (all 4)
match painted valve cover
After next weekend: ported head, 272 cam, adj cam sprocket

Exaust:
tri-Y-header
stock cat
Auto tech cat back
Sebring muffler
no tip (looks like $hit)

Suspension:
everything poly
28mm rear sway
22mm front sway
Neuspeed & Autoteck tie bars
Ground control coil overs #350-#375
Should be getting my shocks next week=Koni fronts & Carrera rears
poly bump stops

Whoa I did'nt realize I'd done so much!!! Hmm interesting. I feel kinda like a
show off now. Oh well, I hope this is interesting to someone. feel free to
flame or ask questions.
