Hi there.
OK, all of you that are leaning towards the Autotech swaybars, heres the
#1 reason to NOT buy them. Read on my bruthas.... (and sistaz, I know
your out there too...)

Ahah. Well, that's a binder aint it? From what ive read and lurned from
the newsgroup as well as the horses mouth, Autotech SELLS an supposed
stronger swaybar bracket. This is like the 3rd generation of the
"stronger" bracket. (There is also another source that ive heard good
things from. I don't have that info available to me but I recall Jim Buck
giving that info a while ago. Jim??) Ive all but given up on Autotech for
reliable tech info. Ive come to realize that they're in the biz to make
money, nothing else.

Ive seen a couple 83-84 GTi's that have welded up washers along side the
sides of the mounts. Looks extremely hokey but it seems to work(so far).
You cant help but say to yourself "Oh-my-gawd" when you see it but hey,
whatever works. Might want to consider this?
Or, worst case is you buy the best (IMHO) swaybar and get a Neuspeed
swaybar and never worry about breaking another bracket again. :)
