Re: Emissions.



My car passed fine w/ no cat. It is a brand new motor, granted, but i've
got a g-grind cam, p&p, etc. I put it on the regular exhaust analyzer at
idle and 2500 and I had like 10-20 hcs and .01 CO. If you've got it setup
right, you will burn extremely clean. 

HC's are unburned fuel in the exhaust. If you have that, i would suggest
either replace the o2 sensor depending on the age (it goes into rich mode
when the sensor goes south on you) or a misfire in the ignition not
lighting the mixture off. A power cleaning of the injectors never hurts
either (about 50 bucks) I always do this just be my smog check, and usually
a 30 dollar O2 as well!! :)
