Re: Idle Problems



One slight correction: CIS-E is what you have if you have a buzzing noise
under the hood. Do not attempt to diagnose your car under the CIS
guidelines, it won't give you enough info for your car. Your car problem
sounds like a fuel pressure regulator. Is it VERY hard to start in the
mornings ie: lots of cranking and pedal work? You could also have leaky
injector seals which is very common. As for the oil pressure sender: use one
out of a Cabriolet or Rabbit convertible. It has 2 prongs one for the idiot
light and one for the gauge. The terminal that says WK is for the light and
the one that says G is for the gauge. HTH

Shawn Meze, you are incorrect. CIS stopped in 1980 in the U.S. It was
however continued in Canada after that but I don't know how long.
