Re: Timing belt and exhaust manifold



Well you're going to need to remove all belts, water pump pulley, crank pulley
(replace with NeverSeize on the shafts...right Potter?) And lower timing belt
cover.  As far as the exhaust manifold, the best piece of advice I can give you is
to remove your throttle body/upper intake tubes to give you better access to the
exhaust manifold.  Remove the outer/lower ones first, then jack the car up, and
with a box-end 12mm hex wrench ONLY (others won't fit and will strip the nuts),
back the inner/lower two out.  As far as the downpipe flange goes, get an impact
wrench on it and a long extension.
