Hi Bryan! Welcome to the list!

Your doing it the hard way. :)  The crank pulley has 4 nuts on it. Remove them 
and half of the pulley will come off. Be carefull, there is shims there that are 
needed to get the correct tension on the belts. You can leave them on to 
remove/replace the belt, no need to remove them. Just be leery of them dropping 
off and rolling away! Put the A/C back where it belongs first. All the belt 
adjustments on the A/C belt is done with the forementioned shims.
