Well Chris VW made quite a few cars with the Synchro option, including the
Golf, but of course didnt' export most of them.  But have you ever seen
the rear end or the chassis of a Synchro, I don't think it would be
possible (well feasible) they are just TOO diferent.
But on another note, I have a freind that was able to put a Bug body on a
Vanagon Sychro frame, 4x4 Bug (UNSTOPPABLE).
