Yeah, I liked that article too! Used it as an example of why EC is better
than C&D, etc when talking to some friends. But....word is on that
article that it was done by a freelancer (no doubt affiliated with Power
Haus); what's worse, they printed speeds taken off the speedometers of the
various cars instead of using proper radar/lidar measurement. The 911
Turbo will NOT do 192 - Motor Trend could only get 181 or thereabouts from
it in their last 'ultimate' test. I can only imagine how inflated the top
speeds on the 944 and 911 convertible were....

I've gotta say I am really disappointed with the writing in EC these days.
Where do they find these hacks? I've seen English 12 essays with C
minuses on them that read better. Its' the same formula every time -
start with a dictionary definition of something, yak about all the great
mods, then conclude with some remark relating back to the intro. It's
f*cking horrible....look at the last few issues and tell me I'm wrong...

Les Bidrawn and James Sly write good articles, I will give EC that. But
I'd love to know what they do with all the Neuspeed/RPI/Autotech/CEC
advertising dollars they pull in every month. They sure as hell aren't
spending it on putting out a better magazine.

I started writing this in a good mood, and now I'm pissed off...:P
