Re: My first Autox ruled!



You should concentrate on how whe car handles more than what it looks 
like through the corners.  It is easily possible to be the front end too 
stiff for street tires, and this amplifies driver's error. With a light 
car you don't need monster bars -- don't compare size with the later 
heavier cars -- the mountimg points and especially moment arms have a 
large effect on the roll stiffness contribution too.  

It's much more satisfying to be quicker through that portion, than it is 
to worry about how you look in a photograph. 

The idea of detaching the front sway bar for pictures is one of the 
stupidest things I've ever heard of.
