Which class are you running in? Depending on the course(and tranny) you will
almost never get third gear. (Makes it kinda nice for novices since it
allows you to concentrate on driving the course.) # runs do suck. Since the
Stadium raised the lot fees for the day, we had to raise the racing fees to
$25. We also raised the runs to 4 which helps out everybody out and makes
you feel a little better for the money. Funruns are where you learn the most!

I know that guy! I was going to print some T-shirts for him for the
waterfest dea last spring....

The hot setup as of this printing for autocrossing a Scirocco is: Neuspeed
22F/28R swaybars, upper/lower stressbars, Race springs on Koni adjustables.
Other people have other items and they seem to work just fine. Before the
Konis and Race springs, I would yank the rear tire way up in the air. (I
never seen it, I wasdriving but I could hear/feel it!) I had spectators
gather in faster tighter sections just to watch my inside rear wheel come
way off the ground. I guess they were humored by it. I dunno. They would be
sure to tell me after I was racing what the wheels did. Who-hoo. Now the
tire still comes off the ground but not as drastic.
What companies do sometimes for photo shoots are to disconnect the front
swaybar and leave the rear bar on so the rear inside wheels will come way
off the ground. Looks good in pictures I sopose.
The problem is, you cant get a bigger front swaybar for the Scirocco than
22mm. That sucks! I would like to have a 25mm myself!
