I am selling an 86' VW GTI 1.8 liter 8v 5-speed with over 7 boxes of parts
and an extra set of wheels. The car has over 200k miles on it and the engine
was rebuilt by previous owner. The engine runs ok but has to warm up for a
minute or two and idles a little high and could use some work to run
perfectly. The clutch slips a little and could probably stand to be
replaced. The car is drivable and somewhat reliable. It has Koni coilovers
along with neuspeed torsion bars and beefy sway bars and is a great
autocross car. It only has a little surface rust in places but nothing
major. The car is overall solid and would be great base for a project
racecar or daily driver.
