Looking for a cheap Mk2 for a friend...

I have an '86 Scirocco for sale, with minimum rust, that needs some trans
work, $300.

It starts right up, but it won't go into gear when the engine is running.
The clutch feel really loose, so it could be the pedal cluster.

If it's not that, it would probably need a clutch, since the cable looks
pretty new.

The faded silver Scirocco has ~209K and the only rust, that I've found so
far, was surface rust on the rear quarter from a small dent, and some
surface rust on the passenger fender, behind the wheel. It could use a
sunroof seal, and the sunroof headliner is all screwed up. It has been
converted to wheel studs, and it has 13" steel wheels with trim rings.
Pioneer shaft style AM/FM cassette stereo, it works, but the volume knob is
missing, and it needs an antenna.

Email me for pics if you're interested...
