general transmission question - input shaft!



9A and AUG have different 2nd gear ratios so the input shafts are different, due to the integral gears, although the input splines are the same size.

Only the 2Y, AGB, CHE, AMC and DFQ trannies have the larger input shaft.

02A/J are totally different externally and internally as described by Peter.
If you're making so much power with your turbo engine and busting 020s you might want to keep me in mind for 02A/J mounting brackets.
