16v w/ turbo

Stock compression would be 10:1 compression. for that I would recommend a
intercooler over 5 psi on that compression. Would recommend lowering
compression with 2 ABA head gaskets that would kick it down to 8:7.1
compression.Parts list wise for 10 psi:

Metal headgasket. thats the First thing you do when you start thinking
about boosting a motor and APR headstuds. when you start putting power down
that head will lift with stock headgasket and the bolts will not hold it.
if it lifts big time new head or new block. Believe me i know from
experence. I blow my headgasket in 5 mins when I turboed my car. and the
head lifted on teh first pull and blow the headgasket in 4 places. I got
lucky because it didn't cost me a head just a quick deck job to be on the
safe side.
stock clutch might last a while depending on the turbo and power you are
making.
Turbo manifold range from $250-500
turbo $75-1300
intercooler and exhaust piping $50-60 bucks
I would always recommend engine management for boost because you have more
control over things like fuel and timing and you have some form of safe
guard in a over boost condition.of you could go with the DIGI-1 fuel system
which uses chips made by SNS.
flanges and connectors etc $60-70
I would recommend a diff or at least a bolt kit for the diff.
Boost gauge and wideband.

One thing I can tell you is when you start applying more power to teh motor
and driveline you start runinng into drive ability issues like parts blowing
up or failing.
