Manifold tubes are plastic?!? and timing help

Try to put the engine at TDC with the "0" lined up with the pointer. Quite
frequently the cam position dot will be off a little bit, so you need to
determine if it will be closer if it's rotated one tooth either way. From
what you've described it sounds good, but check it anyway.

If two wires are in the incorrect position then the engine may putt and it
may start but it'll sure run like poop!!! It needs all 4 cylinders to run
worth a damn.

Also, the engine may putt or start with the fubared injector seat, but it
won't run properly simply because all the air going into the engine needs to
go by the metering plate for the correct air-fuel ratio and the busted
injector seat will present an air leak screwing that up somewhat.

Personally I prefer ROCCGRL. Maybe ROCCBBE in a pinch. ;^)
