[Opinions] Best budget summer performance tires?

Nate,

I run the Yoko AVS ES100's on my wifes cabby and I can attest greatly to
their traction in everything but snow. I haven't found anything yet that
they don't get traction in and that includes mud. They grip like all hell
and the cabby hasn't hydroplaned a single time since I put them on. Here in
Ga, we get some massive rains and while everyone else on the highway slows
down to 30-40mph, I can still safely cruise at 70+. I like them so much,
I'm considering putting them on my rocco as soon as my Toyo's wear out.

I can't speak to the Sumitomo's but I can to the Falkens. The Flaks
have excellent dry traction, but you might as well be running on ice with a
layer of grease in the rain. Couldn't even take off without them spinning
pretty bad.

In the end though, it's like everything else. Try what ya think you'll
like and go from there.

William S.
