I Am sorry to hear about your miss fortune. To add to what others would say. I would also source out classified sections that have similarities to your car. Look at vortex.com, thesamba.com, scirocco.org and like Daun mentioned Ebay. Those sites will provide you with cars, prices and pictures of what the market for this cars really is.
   
  I believe that the NADA book also has a good valued priced for the car and you may find that at a local library.
   
  Hope that helps, dont take the $600. They want you to settle, you should sweat them a little......freaking vultures......and start taking care of that pain on your neck that you dont know you have from the impact against your B-pillar.

If you have paper documents, send word for a snail mail adress. If you want to talk to me, send for a phone number. Specifically, I have a 84' silver M2 wolfsburg 4cyl. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am so glad i found this group before this, or I would have no idea what to do. I am forever in debt to anyone who can help me.
