I NEED HELP PLEASE READ!

It is correct that it is BS..
Tell the insurance adjuster.. to find you another one that was in the
same shape for 600.00. Thier job is to give you as little money as
possible.

But before you do that. Go to the doctor and get a full evaluation...
This will actually do two things.
* Most importantly it gets you checked out.. remember F=ma and you are
the loose object in the vehicle.
* Moves your claim from property damage claim group to bodily injury
group :-). They want to settle for reasonable values.

Also ask for thier comp's.. They need to be the same..

Bigmac.. btdt.. got 2200 for my mk2 with a mashed in fender..(rear)

I was driving on a four lane road side-by-side with a large SUV, and they switched lanes right into me, running me onto the sidewalk. the left side of my car is dented and scratched from front to back, and on the right side both my tires were punctured and rims bent. the people who hit me were very nice- they took full responsibility and had my car towed to a body shop. fortunately, there was no damage to my engine or suspension, but the body damage was assessed to be about 2500$. But when the insurance adjuster came, he told me my car only blue-booked for 600$, and wants to total it out for that amount! I am devastated. I paid 1250$ for my car 3 years ago, and have taken excellent care of it. It has a new seat package, upgraded speakers, and a new muffler and partial exaust, not to mention and almost perfect body besides a cracked (original) paint job.

If you have paper documents, send word for a snail mail adress. If you want to talk to me, send for a phone number. Specifically, I have a 84' silver M2 wolfsburg 4cyl. Any advice would be much appreciated. I am so glad i found this group before this, or I would have no idea what to do. I am forever in debt to anyone who can help me.
