I NEED HELP PLEASE READ!

Heya Kathryn,
My suggestion is ask your insurance company to find you an equivalent
car, and pay out your claim at that amount. My Dad did this a while back
with an Audi Fox wagon; it was in great shape, sunroof, roof rack etc. Ins
company wanted to pay it out at $500 or so (my stepmom got T-boned in it and
it was a total), Dad told them to replace the car. They finally found a car
in Salt Lake City with same equipment and condition, the seller wanted $2200
for it.
And that's what the Insurance company paid.
Also it would be good if you have pictures of the car pre-damage. Use
those and repair/ parts receipts to validate the condition and thus value.
    Good luck.

Karl
