Brakes. oh yeah



Old guy? Jeez you know how to cut an old guy to the bone!
Well, at least I don't have "old guy" in my signature. ;^)

I don't much care for EBC. Had those on my Audi for a while. IIRC cold braking wasn't much. They just didn't bite.
As far as rotors in general I think the cross drilling is a waste of time unless you seriously track your car. I like the ATE slotted rotors carried by www.tirerack.com. Cheap and the slots help get those pesky gases from between the pad and rotor on a hot track day.
I'm also not sure about the cad plating. I've got some cad plated rotors on my Audi and it looks like it's just a matter of time before rust gets under the plating and it comes off. I guess the hubs of the plated rotors still look pretty decent, but the outside and venting are rusted, just like an unplated rotor.
Given a choice I'd run an unplated, slotted rotor that's relatively cheap and Mintex Red Box pads.
