Well I tracked down which relay I was hearing - it was the far right
relay on the second row. Strange that the Bentley doesn't show one,
but after swapping in a similar one from my parts pile I determined
that the relay wasn't the problem. So I traced the wiring to the
switch and discovered a multi-wire connector under the dash that
wasn't seated completely. I have heat again! I was pretty lucky that
I checked out the connector, since it looked to be fine. This car has
been very stubborn when it comes to the wiring. I've pulled what
little hair I have left on numerous occasions tracking down issues
like this. A previous owner at one point (I doubt it was Mash) got
pretty creative which always makes things interesting. I discovered a
hacked-in splice on the wire that powers the fan switch, but couldn't
determine where it went without digging into the dash, so I'll have to
leave that for another day... Ahhh the joys of owning a 25 year old
car!

Later,

Mark.
